This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic tax lawyer to join our cohesive and growing team. You will engage in high-quality tax work across diverse practice areas, with excellent opportunities for career development and responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on all forms of corporate tax, with a strong emphasis on M&A transactions and related documentation.
  • Manage projects and transactions, and liaise closely with colleagues, clients, counterparties, and other advisers.
  • Build and develop client relationships and networks.
  • Deliver strategic and regulatory advice with exceptional technical and analytical skills.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Mid-level lawyer (4-6 PQE) with a background in an international law firm.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in contractual drafting, due diligence, and strategic advice.
  • Client Service: Dedication to understanding client needs and delivering first-class service.
  • Business Development: Enthusiastic about business development with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Industry Insight: Knowledgeable about the commercial challenges and opportunities within our clients' industries.
  • Teamwork: Proactive, organised, and enjoys working in a team setting.

Preferred Experience:

  • Advising corporate and commercial clients on tax matters in both domestic and international contexts.
  • Expertise in fund structures and terms, real estate, private equity, management and executive incentive plans, oil and gas, infrastructure.
  • Drafting comprehensive structure papers.
