Role Summary


This role is an exciting opportunity to join our clients expanding tax department as a Tax Senior under the supervision of a Manager and Partner.


There is a hybrid model of working; therefore, the role will allow a mix of home working and attendance to our client’s London office. The right candidate will be responsible for a mixed tax portfolio of clients and will work on a combination of general tax and international tax matters.


What will the role entail?


  • Serve as the tax client contact for a portfolio of clients, providing accurate and relevant advice and support on tax matters.
  • Preparation and review of Tax Returns to include allocating and reviewing work completed by junior members of the team.
  • Supporting the more senior members of the team.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining accurate client records and supporting the team with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
  • Managing tax advisory assignments as and when they arise.



Essential Requirements


  • Experience of at least three to five years in tax-related work.
  • Part or fully qualified CTA. We would also consider ACA/ ACCA qualified with intention to study CTA.
  • Up to date with current CPD requirements and aware of current tax legislation.
  • Ability to prepare tax computations without reliance on software.
  • Ability to work on multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to budgets.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good English, both written and verbal.
  • Good time management with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexible attitude, with ability to prioritise workloads.


Desirable


  • Knowledge of CCH corporation tax software and Microsoft Office Products, in particular Excel.
