A leading FMCG food buisness are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to drive growth and development within a key customer base. This is a strategic role where you'll manage forecasts, set objectives, and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to achieve business targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for P&L management for a defined portfolio of accounts.
  • Create and manage customer Joint Business Plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Evaluate promotional performance, providing actionable insights to optimise effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement robust customer activation plans.
  • Lead annual business planning discussions with key customers, driving profitable sales growth.
  • Identify market opportunities through detailed research, customer engagement, and analysis.
  • Act as the customer champion internally, ensuring their needs are prioritised.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced team members, helping to develop internal talent.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other essential software tools.
  • Ability to manage customer relationships using web-based portals and bespoke internal systems (training provided).


Candidates applying must demonstrate previous National Account Experience with an FMCG business. Food experience is preferred but other FMCG categories will certainly be considered,
