To manage the House of Fraser business alongside the Buyer with oversight from the Head of Merchandising for merch planning and strategy.
Applicants must be based in or around London and be happy to commute to the our office in Kilburn, London.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
In Season Trading
- Leading weekly trade meetings in Threadology and working with the buyer to suggest actions and then ensuring these are actioned within Frasers.
- Weekly reporting (Trade pack/Bestsellers/WSSI/Delivery Schedule)
- Provide Trade meeting notes to team and follow up ensuring everything is being done, providing updates on progress.
- Attend brand buying appointments with Buyer, providing best seller analysis to support with selections.
- Weekly comms to stores regarding stock, replenishment of sizing and initial allocations. Liaise with relevant Fraser teams to action.
- Monthly tunneling/consolidations, sizing and replenishment analysis, making sure it is actioned within Frasers.
- Manage relationships within Frasers to drive business forward, ensuring we are up to date with key processes and system updates.
- Monthly local store visits and bi annual regional store visits with Buyer. Providing reports of actions required.
- In season and EOS Markdown proposals. Getting these actioned once approved within Frasers and ensuring line budgets/Trade Review are up to date to reflect these changes.
- Ensure core lines are never out of stock, placing orders with production so all stores are constantly in stock of all sizes whilst keeping covers as low as possible.
- Fully involved with the Fraser continuity review and meeting Fraser deadlines on this.
- Full management of branded WSSIs and regular reviews with head of Merchandising.
Seasonal
- Seasonal sizing analysis
- Raising orders/checking vs range plans and branded order confirmations that product information, pricing and units are all correct.
- Assigning UPC/EANs are raised in the Frasers system and orders are EDI’d to our ERP system, working with Production manager to ensure two systems are aligned.
- Working with Production manager to ensure delivery schedule is up to date so intake forecasts can be provided to book space within Frasers warehouse.
- Chase in deliveries from third party brands as well as working with our Production manager to ensure deliveries are coming in on time.
- Approving portal amendments in the Frasers system and general purchase order maintenance to keep prices/date and quantities fully up to date.
- End of season analysis
