Role

PrettyGreen is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth for our agency both within the UK and EMEA. You will work closely with our Influencer Marketing Client Services Director and Growth team to develop and implement strategies that align with both our values and growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach efforts.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and offer tailored influencer marketing solutions.
  • Business Growth: Contribute to the evolution and growth of PrettyGreen’s Influencer Marketing offering working with clients and identifying new opportunities.
  • Pitching & Presentations: Develop compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of our services and drive client conversions.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Growth team to create and execute sales strategies that align with PrettyGreen’s values and ambitions.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations and close deals that meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the Growth team on progress towards targets.


Skills :

  • Proven experience selling to Marketing Directors, Social Media & Comms heads, ideally within the Influencer Marketing space
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic-level sales and/or business development roles.
  • Strong network and knowledge within a broad range of industries, potentially including; lifestyle, consumer, sport, tech & gaming.
  • Strong understanding of the influencer marketing landscape, including trends, platforms, and key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Self-starter with excellent presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities including potential for travel outside the UK as we expand into EMEA
