Our EV infrastructure client has one goal: to make the transition to clean mobility as easy as possible. Their ambition is that in the future they will provide the best charging network in the Netherlands, England, and Germany with easily accessible and spacious charging stations on business parks.
They are looking for a Deployment Manager who can work closely with the Acquisitions and Project Development teams to oversee the practical construction phases of each project.
Responsibilities
- Site Design:Working with designers and ICPs to manage the site layouts, arrange and commission construction and electrical drawings, and work with DNOs and IDNOs to supply and finalise NERS designs
- DNO Management: Applying for suitable power connections and managing the DNO process from start to finish
- Budget Management: Keeping track of project budgets, expenses, and guaranteeing cost-effective solutions without sacrificing project quality
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical and construction regulations for EV installation projects by keeping up-to-date with regulatory updates and developments
- Supplier Management: Managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring effective and efficient delivery of services and equipment
- Risk Management: Identifying potential hazards and developing mitigation plans to minimize disruptions to the project, implementing Health and Safety measures that supplement our processes and procedures
Requirements
- In-depth knowlegde of the technologies surrounding the EV charging installation process, as well as the relevant regulations and industry standards
- Strong planning and organizational skills and an effective communicator.
- Background or education in construction/electrical engineering is an advantage.
