Trinity House Group are working with a market leader who are going through a significant growth phase in the UK and Europe. They are now looking for an experienced and motivated Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Manager to join a dynamic team .


The Role: As an M&A Manager, you will play a critical role in executing and managing a variety of high-profile transactions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance, who can lead complex deals from inception to completion. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, advising on potential acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures to drive the growth and profitability of the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management: Lead the end-to-end process of M&A transactions, including deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, valuation and negotiation.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial modelling and valuation analysis to assess potential transactions, providing clear recommendations to senior management and clients.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic advice to clients on M&A opportunities, including market trends, competitive landscape, and potential risks and synergies.
  • Due Diligence: Oversee the due diligence process, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to ensure thorough assessment of financial, operational, and legal aspects of transactions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, legal advisors, and other key stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and alignment throughout the deal process.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the M&A team.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including board members.


Key Requirements:

  • Education: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA is desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in M&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex transactions. You will have had significant exposure to acquisition and divestment processes.
