OVERALL FUNCTION OF THE ROLE
- Support and advise internal stakeholders in the execution of new and existing business
- Become a product specialist for the business with responsibility for guiding new clients through the technical aspects of the product offering including technical accounting
- Review and opine on indicative terms to ensure transaction structure is optimal and adheres to business and risk appetite. This extends to engaging with the Operations team to ensure the proposed transaction structure is operationally viable and scalable
- Ensure the smooth execution of new business accounts, identifying and resolving any potential issues
- Coordinate and take responsibility for drafting and submitting requests for requests for proposal/information.
- Advise BDMs on internal best practice to optimise business conversion.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk Management, and Operations to ensure transactions progress in a timely manner and any issues are properly identified and addressed
- Attend weekly Sales calls to gain a greater insight of the potential business opportunities to allow for resource planning
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of all transactions
- Oversee, manage, and develop staff
- Ensure regular review of all related documentation and policy and procedures
- Proactively suggest improvements and enhance processes
KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years experience working in Transaction Execution/Management role
- Background in transaction execution/management with experience of closing asset backed/complex transaction structures
- Extensive knowledge of loan products, including an understanding of loan funding mechanics and complex deal structures
- Operational and administrative knowledge of the loan market
