I am currently working on a SAP BOFC/BFC consultant position on behalf of a prestigious consultancy. It is a long term contract based in London, please see the details below:


SAP BOFC/BFC

London - Hybrid

Initial 6 months, extension beyond

Up to 500 a day Inside IR35


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular checks to ensure that team processes are aligned with Risk Control Matrix(RCM)
  • Ensure operating procedures and user guidance documents are current and updated
  • Maintain up-to-date records of risk acceptance where relevant

Conduct User Access Reviews:

  • Conduct reviews for privileged users(ACC02)
  • Conduct reviews for generic users(ACC03)
  • Manage group and country wide access distribution, including chasing and collating responses(ACC09)
  • Manage quarterly inactive users' distribution, including chasing and collating responses(ACC09)
  • Oversee annual review distribution, including chasing and collating responses(ACC11)
  • Perform proactive ad-hoc checks as needed

Regular Peer Reviews:

  • Conduct Regular Peer Reviews of configuration and Business As Usual(BAU) changes


Key skills:

  • Good understanding of working with audits of financial systems and ITIL processes
  • Any experience of working with or participation on SOX audits would be beneficial
  • Good understanding of business objects, databases, SAP DB/applications and Cloud IaaS and Paas technologies
  • Comprehensive understandings of controls requirements within the context of business needs in a fast-paced finance environment
  • In-depth knowledge of how financial consolidation(P&L) systems operate
  • Located in the UK to ensure effective and value added effort
  • Proficiency with BFC SAP financial consolidation products, including both functional and non-functional aspects, would be plus
