Job Description:

The Demand Planning / Order Fulfillment Manager is responsible for managing the Demand Planning process and ensuring efficient order fulfillment to meet customer requirements. They collaborate with various teams, including Sales, Production, Global Logistics, Third Party Logistics providers and Customer Service, to optimize the supply chain and ensure customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

Demand Planning:

  1. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer forecasts to develop accurate demand plans.
  2. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather inputs and insights for demand forecasting.
  3. Utilize demand planning software/tools to generate forecasts and monitor accuracy.
  4. Identify and analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and other factors impacting demand variability.
  5. Provide input for production and procurement plans based on demand forecasts.


Order Management and Fulfillment:

  1. Receive and review customer orders for accuracy, completeness, and feasibility.
  2. Coordinate with Production, Inventory, and Logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  3. Monitor order status and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
  4. Communicate order updates, delays, or changes to customers and internal stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate with the Global Logistics team to optimize transportation and delivery processes.
  6. Track order fulfillment metrics, such as order cycle time and on-time delivery and identify areas for improvement.


Inventory Management:

  1. Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability at 3PLs while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
  2. Analyze demand patterns and collaborate with the Global Planning team to determine Inventory replenishment requirements.
  3. Coordinate with Warehouse personnel to ensure accurate inventory counts and timely replenishment.


3PL Management:

  1. Manage 3PL relationships within the respective cluster
  2. Manage Logistics arrangements to and from CMOs within the regions
  3. Drive new Contract sign-offs and renewals with 3PL and other service providers
  4. Track, review and manage key metrics for 3PL Logistics & Distribution
  5. Manage escalations from 3PLs, related to Supply Chain elements
  6. Ensure Trade compliance in the region
  7. Track Vendor payments and escalate in case of issues


Continuous Improvement:

  1. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the demand planning and order fulfillment functions.
  2. Implement best practices and strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  3. Work cross-functionally with other teams to streamline processes and resolve any bottlenecks.

Customer service:

  1. Work with stakeholder to collect relevant feedback and manage internal/external customer expectations
  2. Complaint/ deviation resolution and root cause analysis
  3. Claims management working with relevant internal functions
  4. Product release coordination working with quality and logistics


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in Demand Planning, Order Management, or Supply Chain Operations.
  3. Proficiency in using demand planning software/tools and ERP systems.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
