Assistant Store Manager

We now require a bright and talented Assistant Store Manager [full-time 40 hrs] to help manage our new store in Cardiff. Previous tailoring experience is essential.


Duties will include, amongst others:

  • Responsibility for opening and closing procedures.
  • Supervising the store team, working closely with Store Management.
  • Supervising stock / inventory.
  • Supporting Store Management to achieve sales targets and contribute towards the stores KPI results.
  • Providing excellent customer service and leading by example to maximise sales.
  • Providing strong duty management skills and supporting sales staff to achieve their goals.


To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Solid experience of at least 3 years working in a supervisory/store management position. Previous tailoring experience is essential.
  • Experience of working within retail, preferably fashion retail.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends at times.
  • Immediate start preferred.


Additionally, you must have excellent communication skills coupled with an organised and proactive approach. The ability to lead and motivate others is the key to success.
