Purpose of Role:

The Recruitment Coordinator at Harbour Energy is pivotal in supporting the company’s recruitment strategy, ensuring it aligns with the dynamic needs of the oil and gas industry. This role is designed to:


  • Support Recruitment Partners with reviewing applications and arranging interviews
  • Assist with compliance activities, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Uphold the DE&I principals set out by the business and support the continued development and implementation of our DE&I initiatives
  • Support creation of letters and onboarding related documentation
  • Collaborate with candidates and business leaders to deliver a first-class recruitment experience
  • Support the Recruitment Team with reporting and metrics
  • Attend recruitment fairs and events to promote Harbour Energy as an employer of choice
  • Drive continuous improvement in recruitment practices, leveraging industry best practices
  • Supports the upkeep of the recruitment systems including data input.


Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:

  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure recruitment activities comply with all relevant legal, regulatory, and best practice standards across different jurisdictions
  • Talent Attraction: Assist the Recruitment Team with innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-calibre candidates to the oil and gas sector
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR and business leaders to support with recruitment activity
  • Candidate Experience: Support the candidate journey, ensuring a positive and engaging experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion within recruitment practices to build a diverse and talented workforce
  • Onboarding and Integration: Manage the onboarding processes that facilitate the successful integration of new hires into the company
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilise recruitment analytics to inform the Recruitment Team of key recruitment metrics
  • Health and Safety Environment: Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation, and Harbour Energy HSES procedures.


Critical Skills, Qualifications, Experience, etc.:

  • Relevant Experience: Working in a fast-paced environment, with a team and independently
  • Proven experience working in an administrative customer focussed position
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ensuring attention to detail and accuracy is maintained
  • Strong IT literacy, particularly across the core Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Communication and Influence: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders across cultures
  • Training and Development: Willingness to undertake training as required and to learn and develop new skills
