I am exclusivley hiring for my client who is looking to hire a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager from the Personal Care or Beauty or HI&I market to join their team In this crucial role, you will focus on developing relationships and driving revenue with both new and existing manufacturing customers within a key segment. Your mission will be to achieve sales targets while nurturing and developing strong partnerships and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Generate new business by targeting decision-makers within brands and manufacturers, building long-term relationships.
  • Proactively manage and develop relationships with key accounts to retain and grow business while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Create and implement account profiles and plans for a structured focus on customer needs.
  • Collaborate with various teams (Sales, Marketing, Production, Technical, Customer Service, Finance) to deliver outstanding service.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and reporting, while managing personal activities to meet targets.
  • Work closely with the Marketing department to enhance awareness of the brand and services.
  • Guide customers through the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Identify market opportunities and trends to maximize product exploitation.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and adapt sales plans based on market dynamics.


Experience required:


  • Highly experienced in business development or account management, ideally within the manufacturing sector of Personal Care, Beauty, or H I&I industry and markets.
  • In-depth experience and knowledge of B2B sales within the Personal Care or H I&I industry and markets.
  • Proven sales track record in growing accounts in sales and profit.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Flexible for UK travel 1-2 days per week, 3 days in the office.
  • Enthusiastic and driven, with a passion for thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
