Our client, a leading drinks business is looking for a Shipping & Logistics Administrator to coordinate and oversee the shipping of imported products from their global suppliers, manage inventory levels and ensure that deliveries are made on time.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders.
  • Schedule and arrange shipments with logistics providers and carriers.
  • Coordinate pick-up and delivery times to meet customer deadlines.
  • Arrange worldwide shipments and transfer transportation.
  • Complete all shipping documentation including customs clearance.
  • Resolve purchase order queries.
  • Liaising with sales managers, agents, and warehouses worldwide.
  • Manage stock levels, identifying, and resolving discrepancies.


Candidate requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
  • Stock Control, Imports, and Distribution experience in a FMCG environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Must be computer literate and competent using Microsoft Excel and Word


Salary will be circa £28K to £32K + Bonus

25 leave days + 8 bank holidays

The role will be based in the Hertfordshire area

Hybrid remote working (3 days in the office)
