About the role


We’re currently outsourcing our marketing to a creative agency, with their CEO acting as our interim Head of Marketing. We’re seeking an experienced leader and strategic thinker to bring our marketing efforts back in-house by building a fantastic marketing department that will maximise our growth and drive our initiatives forward. Responsibilities


  • Commercial Performance: Track and report on relevant marketing KPIs such as number of MQLs, website performance, conversion rates, channel performance, pipeline, and ROI for all programs in line with budget forecasts and pre-agreed commercial goals.
  • Marketing Strategy: Create strategies and oversee activities aimed at improving lead generation and conversion rates throughout the whole sales funnel by collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as sales team, and external ones, such as our creative agency and partners. Ensure all marketing activities are effectively using and responding to defined personas, insights and trends.
  • Communication Excellence: Ensure company messaging is maintained and up to date and that service value propositions are up to date, compelling and aligned to the target audience, both externally and internally.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budget and work with team and peers to ensure effective allocation of resources to maximise ROI and achieve business objectives.
  • Internal Alliance: Be the driver for the alignment between the Marketing, Sales, Alliances and Consulting teams by ensuring collaborative environment and consistent and effective communication between Marketing and the rest of the Agile team. Build relationships internally acting as a role model for colleagues and provide constructive upward feedback and recommendations to support senior leadership team decision-making.
  • Change Driver: Contribute and identify improvements for effective internal communications across the business, messaging on company culture and values, employee feedback mechanisms, etc in support of a great employee experience.
  • Team Leadership: Build and develop a strong team of field marketing professionals to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, supporting professional growth and development.
  • Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of each market including customer needs, competitive landscape and internal needs to inform your strategies and provide input to stakeholders across the wider team.


Requirements


  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive growth.
  • A strong experience within a leadership marketing role, and senior management team.
  • The ability to demonstrate ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to navigate complex market dynamics and drive growth.
  • Practical knowledge and experience of digital marketing, including social media and content marketing.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.


Desirable

  • Exposure to Salesforce and Marketo would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience within a Data & Analytics, Cloud Services company
  • Exposure to previous experience marketing within a Consulting Services, Business Services, or Software sales sector.
