Job Description

You will join the Technology Performance team within Global Technology Strategy, Planning and Performance.

Our mission is to make delicious feel-good moments easy for everyone, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data analyst to have a real impact upon thousands of customers in thousands of restaurants every day.

Our purpose is to improve how we deploy, run, and adopt technology through data-driven insights.

Our strategy is to:

  • Ensure important metrics are accessible, usable, and credible.
  • Deep-dive insights from new and existing datasets.
  • Align on data use and continuous improvement.

For example, developing a novel approach to quantifying the availability of restaurant technology, using this to find opportunities and drive strategic decisions.

Your key accountabilities

  • Grow the Technology Performance team through creating new insights and driving change:
  • Develop bold approaches to measure and improve Technology performance.
  • Define appropriate measures/critical metrics and support the identification of appropriate data sources.
  • Interrogate data, identify insights, and build strategies to unlock business value.
  • Share best practice with Market, Segment and Global teams.
  • Build data products such as PowerBI/Tableau dashboards and Python/SQL data pipelines and/or act in a product owner capacity with partners to deliver these capabilities.

Success Measures include:

  • A measurable improvement in Technology Performance (e.g. restaurant stability and hardware compliance).
  • Promote the function and share key insights and results with a variety of internal business customers and broader audiences using data visualization, reporting and dashboard technologies.
  • Manage a transparent backlog of work and prioritize competing demands effectively.
  • Partner with Market technology teams, and Global engineering, data and architecture teams to support specific project deliverables where necessary.
  • Share our best practices with our Global colleagues and importantly, ensure we are identifying and implement standard methodologies already applied elsewhere.

Contributing to our team culture

  • Support the team Director with recruitment, motivation, and recognition.
  • Provide opportunities for team members to share their knowledge with broader audiences.

Qualifications

The ideal applicant will have experience partnering closely with senior customers to identify and solve business problems by offering consultative advice contributing to driving business and cultural change through the delivery of your analysis and insights.

  • BSc Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Deep experience of manipulating, analysing and visualizing data.
  • Adept at building dashboards and reports using PowerBI and/or Tableau.
    • Python knowledge is a plus.
