Job Title: Experienced Marketing Executive (Agency Comms & Event Management)


Location: Leicester, United Kingdom


Job Type: Full-time, Hybrid (minimum 4 days per month in-office)


Salary: £25k to £35K depending on experience


Qualification: Ideal job role for graduates in marketing and business studies. It would also suit someone with the DMI level 5 qualification.


Experience:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within an agency environment.


Overview:

Join our dynamic agency team as an Experienced Marketing Executive and play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing activities (both on and offline), brand awareness and lead generation.

This position offers hands-on involvement in various marketing activities, the opportunity to influence strategy, and participate in budget planning. Career progression would include inclusion in our Digital Leadership Team (DLT), directly impacting our growth and innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Distribution:

  • Plan and execute content across blogs, case studies, award entries, and email newsletters. Your role could also involve public relations.
  • An understanding of SEO and practical experience of uploading content using WordPress would be an advantage.


Outbound Communications:

  • Oversee and implement outbound communication strategies using CRM and marketing automation tools.
  • Manage social media posts and email campaigns to strengthen engagement.


Event Organisation and Management:

  • Lead the planning and execution of webinars, networking events, client dinners, and attendance at external conferences and exhibitions.
  • Organise our annual conference, ensuring each event supports our marketing goals and enhances brand visibility.


Support for Sales Team and Lead Generation:

  • Creation of assets and content for use by the sales team during their outreach activities to generate leads of prospects through targeted outreach and sales efforts.


Webinar Hosting and Support:

  • Set-up and promote our weekly webinars.
  • Co-host or support in the delivery of webinars, enhancing audience engagement and delivering compelling content


Creative Production:

  • Utilise tools like Photoshop or Canva to craft visually compelling content.
  • Experience in video production and editing is highly desirable, enhancing our content's impact.


Reporting and Analysis:

  • Regularly present KPI reports to the DLT, focusing on both activity outputs (e.g., number of social posts, blogs, events) and outcomes (e.g., webinar attendance, customer reviews, organic traffic).
  • Ability to understand and present Google Analytics reports is an advantage.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of DMI level 5 but ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a marketing role, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Proficient with CRM and marketing automation platforms. Training is our platform provided.
  • Excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple timelines efficiently.
  • Strong creative and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to co-host or support webinars is considered an advantage.


Professional Development:

  • If applicable you can participate in our Digital Skills Bootcamp, a comprehensive training programme over four months, one day per week, leading to a Level 5 qualification from the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI).
  • If you enjoy teaching then, there is also an opportunity to train on this course.
