Role Summary:

An exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional has arisen to join a highly respected media owner in the B2B arena. Your role includes managing and growing client accounts, driving sales, and ensuring the successful execution of exhibition sales campaigns and building strong client relationships.

The role is a combination of telephone and face-to-face sales and presents an exciting opportunity for someone who can thrive in this type of sales environment.


Core Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all individual stand revenue, yield and sponsorship targets are achieved.

• Timely and accurate pipeline management in line with Commercial Director’s expectations.

• Identifying sales opportunities and effectively presenting key features and benefits of exhibiting.

• Identify and pursue potential exhibitors and sponsors through various channels such as industry events, cold calling, networking, and referrals.

• Maintaining all records on company CRM, ensuring that all individual and company records are correct and up to date.

• Delivery of all activity KPIs as set out by the line manager, such as call times, appointment targets, lead generation etc.

• Accurate and timely sales and activity reporting as requested by the line manager.

• Accurate floorplan management and ongoing communication of floorplan development with the internal team.

• Effective selling, ensuring optimum use of space.

• Immersion into the traffic and parking industries.

• Working effectively with all team members to ensure delivery of all team objectives.

Person Specification:


The ideal candidate will be confident, articulate, driven and have the enthusiasm to succeed, with at least 2 years of experience across B2B sales. The role will suit someone with experience in a telephone-based sales position who has the drive to progress their sales career within a thriving company.


• Proven sales and negotiation skills.

• First Class communication skills- written and oral and demonstrable fluency in English.

• Minimum 2 years Event sales or B2B sales experience (other professional sales experience would be considered).

• Proven ability to cold call and develop new business.

• Ability to build effective business relationships.

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

• Flexible approach to working methods and hours of attendance.

• Hard working and committed.
