An exciting opportunity has arisen for a brand-new role that involves full administration and ownership of the Amazon Vendor account for Airflow, helping to drive the growth and shape the future of the account.
Airflow supplies Amazon with a selection of core products contributing towards the natural growth of the account each year. We are now looking for a dedicated individual to focus on optimising and streamlining all operational, promotional and analytical features available on the Amazon Vendor platform, with the aim of growing the account firstly within the UK and then on to new marketplaces internationally.
Role
Suited to an individual who has the initiative to work autonomously, a willingness to learn and enjoys working in a very varied role.
Initially the role will involve concentrated training to learn and digest the vast amount of information on all things Amazon, by reading their ‘how-to’ guides and watching their videos. The individual must be capable of retaining information learnt, and succinctly articulating and presenting to their direct reports how to best utilise the various features available on the platform.
The individual will project manage and work cross-functionally with other key departments; implementing strategic promotional campaigns (Lightning Deals, Sponsored Ads etc); updating the brand store; creating new products and writing product content; understanding orders, returns and resolving operational and logistical issues, all aimed to optimise and increase sales.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
· Responsible for driving sales and daily account management activities
· Research and present sales strategies
· Create and implement promotional campaigns
· Utilise the reporting tools to review and measure the success of promotional campaigns
· Continuously maintain existing product catalogue: updating product details & completing attributes
· Create product A+ Content, Brand pages, update and maintain the Brand store
· Launch and upload new products
· Understand logistics and packaging requirements into Amazon hubs
· Understand and control Amazon product returns
· Fully understand any legal obstacles and requirements to expand into international marketplaces
· Understand changing legal requirements of trading with Amazon
· A collaborative work ethic ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed, where necessary working to implement compliance across departments
· An ability to contribute to comprehensive management information and work to KPI’s and contribute to the efficiency of our business.
Key Competencies & Requirements
· At least 2 years’ experience in a similar digital sales or online retail account role
· Advanced user of Office 365 packages: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
· Understanding of eCommerce, B2B and B2C transactions
· Content writer, preferably some graphic design experience
· Education to Degree Level
