We’re currently supporting our client who are a marketing leading business who have major clients across a range of sectors including utilities, construction and civil engineering who are seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team.



Role:


  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies.
  • Manage and develop supplier relationships to achieve optimum cost, quality, and service.
  • Manage and lead the procurement team, ensuring that they work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to identify and deliver cost savings, whilst maintaining high levels of quality.
  • Lead procurement activities across the business, including tendering, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Work with the wider business to ensure procurement aligns with project needs.
  • Build and manage a high performing procurement team.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.



Candidate:


  • Proven experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Manager or Procurement Manager.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience of supplier relationship management.
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and processes.
  • Experience of leading and developing a team would be ideal but would consider someone with good procurement experience looking for that next level.
  • CIPS or MCIPS qualified.



Package:


  • Basic Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience (up to £65,000, negotiable for the right experience)
