Role Overview

As a Lead Cost Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial aspects of a significant new-build project. Collaborating closely with a Project Manager, you will be entrusted with the commercial management of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue sub-contract tender packages.
  • Engage in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Participate in post-tender and pre-contract meetings.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with a well-established network of supply chain subcontractors.
  • Evaluate and assess contract risks.
  • Attend both internal and external commercial review meetings.
  • Submit client valuations and manage the variation account effectively.
  • Oversee subcontract accounts from procurement through to final account.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of claims for variation works.
