Job Description: Executive Search Consultant (Hedge Fund Focus)

Role Summary: As an Executive Search Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our firm’s success by sourcing, attracting, and placing exceptional hedge fund professionals. Your expertise in hedge fund recruitment will drive our clients’ growth and enhance their investment teams. Responsibilities:

  1. Candidate Sourcing:
  • Utilize your extensive network and market knowledge to identify potential candidates.
  • Conduct targeted searches across various platforms, databases, and professional networks.
  • Engage with passive candidates and build strong relationships.
  1. Client Engagement:
  • Collaborate closely with our clients to understand their specific needs and strategic goals.
  • Develop a deep understanding of their investment strategies and culture.
  • Present qualified candidates who align with our clients’ requirements.
  1. Market Research:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging talent.
  • Analyze competitor firms and identify potential talent pools.
  • Provide valuable insights to clients regarding market conditions and talent availability.
  1. Candidate Assessment:
  • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Assess technical skills, investment acumen, and leadership capabilities.
  • Present comprehensive candidate profiles to clients.
  1. Relationship Building:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with both candidates and clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain regular communication to ensure successful placements.
  1. Business Development:
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand our client base.
  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and forums.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to enhance our brand presence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hedge fund recruitment or executive search.
  • Proven track record of successfully placing senior hedge fund professionals.
  • Strong understanding of investment strategies, asset classes, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
