Blackburn UK, Lancashire, United Kingdom GO THRIFT Full time

Go Thrift is one of the UK's leading online second-hand fashion retailers. We're reshaping how people buy and sell pre-loved clothing, promoting circularity, and making it easier for everyone to afford the brands they love while doing something good for the planet.

Founded just four years ago in the North West, we've grown from a passionate team of four founders into a vibrant team of 40, all sharing the same vision. Together, we've sold over 500,000 items, showing that sustainable fashion isn't just a trend - it's the future.

Now, we're gearing up for the next big step. With a significant investment round about to close, we're bringing on board some of the UK's most forward-thinking and influential investors. This partnership will fuel our growth, leading to the launch of a new product later this year that will set a new standard in the industry.

As we enter this exciting new phase, we're looking for talented, passionate individuals who want to make a difference. You'll have the opportunity to work with industry leaders, join a rapidly expanding team, and help shape the future of sustainable fashion.

At Go Thrift, we don't just talk about change - we make it happen. Join us, and you'll be part of a company that values innovation, creativity, and purpose, driving a movement that's redefining fashion for a new generation.

Role Overview:

As our SEO Executive, you'll drive both on-page and off-page SEO initiatives to enhance Go Thrift's website visibility and rankings. You'll execute day-to-day SEO tasks while developing and implementing strategies to boost organic traffic and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement SEO strategies aligned with business objectives to increase organic traffic and improve site rankings.

  • Improve website content for better search engine indexing and rankings, including optimising meta tags, headers, and body copy.
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce team to oversee content creation that aligns with SEO goals.

On-Page & Off-Page Optimisation:

  • Implement link-building techniques to strengthen website authority and domain strength.
  • Conduct website audits to identify and address technical and content-related SEO issues.

SEO Strategy & Collaboration:

  • Work with external SEO partners to develop and execute strategies that increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create compelling content for various channels, including the website, blog, and social media.

Metrics Tracking & Analysis:

  • Track and analyse SEO metrics, providing regular performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Present updates on SEO progress to team members and management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of SEO experience.
  • Ability to prioritise SEO recommendations based on impact and resources.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, algorithms, and best practices.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of all aspects of SEO (on-site, on-page, and off-site).
  • Proficient copywriting skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  • Ability to conduct competitive analysis and stay updated with industry trends.
