Field Trials Assistant

SRG are delighted to again be working with an industry leading agricultural organisation with sites across the UK and customers across the globe.
The organisation are the UK's leaders in the potato breeding field and are one of the largest seed potato growers in the country with sites in Scotland & Cambridge.
They are currently looking to add a field trials assistant to their team based in trials & research team based near Cambridge.
The Role
As the field trials assistant you will be working closely with the organisation's breeding team to ensure optimal running and recording of on-site and off-site potato breeding trials. This includes the accurate and timely recording of trial data and results, the supervision of casual staff during peak harvesting periods as well as troubleshooting and providing assistance to off-site trials.
The Right Person
To be successful in this role you will have;
- A valid full UK Driving Licence
- Experience managing large volumes of data
- A keen interest in agriculture
- An eye for details
- Flexibility to work around peak trial times
In return you will receive a competitive salary package up to £35,000 p/a dependent on experience
