A traditional firm but under new ABS ownership, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to work with the Managing Partner across two offices at an exciting time in the firms development. The role will involve advising clients across a traditional family law setting with our Private Client Team.


The candidate will be well presented with a positive and professional manner, a strong team player who strives for high standards in their work and is able to manage their own workload. While the role is suitable for a competent Junior Solicitor or an executive, more Senior candidates should also apply.


The team have strong growth plans generally and the candidate will need to be able to take on a sensible workload upon appointment. The role comes with a clear progression path for those who desire it. There is an increasing opportunity to advise HNW client's from with our group of companies


Responsibilities

  • Meeting and interviewing clients
  • Take client's instructions and advising client on the law and legal issues.
  • Drafting documents, letters and contracts tailored to the individual needs of the client
  • Corresponding with clients, other professional advisors
  • Checking all documentation prior to signing and implementing
  • Working in a team and assisting colleagues
  • Regularly reflect, identify and record learning needs with supervising solicitor


Qualifications and Skills

  • Advisory skills in a Private Client setting
  • Advanced MS skills and competent in the use of databases and systems
  • Strong customer facing / customer service skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and comfortable with responsibility
