Job Title: Head of Private Client

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Private Client to lead our Private Client Department at Regional Recruitment Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of solicitors and supporting the growth and development of our Private Client practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of solicitors, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and develop the Private Client practice, identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on Private Client matters, including wills, probate, and trust work.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
  • Monitor and manage the department's budget, ensuring that all expenses are within approved limits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to retain and grow existing business.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in Private Client law, ensuring that the department's knowledge and expertise is current and relevant.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to ensure that the Private Client practice is aligned with the firm's overall strategy and goals.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience in Private Client law.
  • Proven track record of managing and leading a team of solicitors, with experience of developing and implementing strategies to grow and develop a Private Client practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to retain and grow existing business.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
