Job Title: Head of Private Client

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Private Client to lead our Private Client Department at Regional Recruitment Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of solicitors and supporting the growth and development of our Private Client practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of solicitors, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and develop the Private Client practice, including identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on Private Client matters, including wills, probate, and trust work.
  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day activities of the Private Client team, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including solicitors, barristers, and other professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in Private Client law and practice, and ensure that the team is aware of and compliant with relevant changes.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and files, including client files and team performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience in Wills, Probate, and Trust work.
  • Proven track record in the delivery and attainment of targets both individually and as a wider group.
  • Experience in team leadership and development, including supervising and managing a team of solicitors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while planning and prioritising and coping with conflicting demands.
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
