The opportunity:

We are looking for a talented and driven E-commerce Operations Manager to join our newly formed E-Commerce Team. The purpose of this role is to help grow Paladone’s omni-channel e-commerce presence we are seeking a highly skilled and proactive person. You will be responsible for managing the day to day of E-commerce and Amazon operations, with the team responsible for listings, content improvements, stock replenishments and appeals on the Amazon platform, and other global marketplaces.


The role will report to our Head of E-Commerce and will have line management responsibilities for the E-Commerce Merchandisers & E-Commerce Co-Ordinators and will need to be working on site 3 days of the week (60% of working week)


What are key duties of the role?

Amazon Marketplace Management

  • Based on input from the E-comm Sales team manage and optimise product listings on Amazon and other marketplaces, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and implement SOPs for continuous listing optimisation utilising the creative and marketing teams.
  • Handle Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central operations including order fulfilment, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Resolve issues relating to account health, performance notifications and customer feedback.
  • Work closely with the E-comm Sales function to uncover opportunities based on performance metrics.
  • Help to develop and train internal teams on using a ticketing system.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management

  • Ensure orders are processed, and stock shipped in line with SLAs.
  • Coordinate with NPD, supply and forecasting teams to maintain required stock levels.
  • Help to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Manage relationship with third-party logistics companies.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a team with varying levels of e-commerce experience.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Adjust and build our existing SOPs to suit the Paladone workflows.
  • Ensure SOPs are adhered to by the monitoring of cases completed by Amazon team members.

Proactive brand protection

  • Working closely with our licencing team to issue take down requests against fake products that infringe on our, or our licensor’s IP.

Market Expansion

  • Help to build new SOPs as we launch our products into new countries and onto new marketplaces.

Policy Compliance

  • Stay abreast of Amazon’s policies and guidelines, ensuring Paladone’s actions align with platform regulations.
  • Advise on proactive measures to minimise future cases.

What we need you to bring to the team:

  • Proven experience in E-commerce and Operations Management
  • Minimum of 2 years working in a similar role
  • Accountability – delivering on commitments
  • Strong independent planning and organisation
  • Able to collaborate and with internal and external teams to resolve issues as they arise
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proven track record of setting and achieving targets
  • Project Management experience
  • A deep understanding of Amazon and Walmart
  • Strong time management skills
  • Knowledge of the ecommerce landscape and international marketplaces
