The role:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Continuing Airworthiness Manager to join our clients expanding aviation services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and grow the CAMO department while ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.


Key responsibilities:


1. Department Oversight and Management:

- Oversee Part-M/CAMO operations across all bases (Daily)

- Manage CAMO personnel, ensuring efficient department operations (Daily)

- Provide leadership and motivation to CAM staff

- Expand customer base to maximise external income


2. Regulatory Compliance and Documentation:

- Manage CAME (Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition) (As Required)

- Oversee AD/SB assessment and application (Weekly/As Required)

- Coordinate emergency ADs (As Required)

- Update CA Form E89 (Monthly)

- Review and revise Maintenance Programmes (Annually/As Required)

- Manage publication subscriptions (As Required)


3. Aircraft and Component Management:

- Oversee Engineering Department repairs and modifications (As Required)

- Input Component Inspection Reports for Part M (As Required)

- Conduct routine aircraft auditing (Monthly)

- Manage Aerotrac system (As Required)

- Process maintenance variations/extensions (As Required)

- Handle new aircraft CofA/registrations/loading/config build/AMP revisions (As Required)


4. Quality Assurance and Audits:

- Check SMIs (Scheduled Maintenance Instructions) (As Required)

- Host audits, ACAMs, CofA surveys, and liaison meetings (As Required)

- Correct ARC (Airworthiness Review Certificate) findings (As Required)

- Perform ARC renewals/extensions


5. Stakeholder Management:

- Liaise with authorities and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) (As Required)

- Manage customer relationships (As Required)

- Coordinate OEM technical liaison (As Required)


6. Additional Responsibilities:

- Cover for Planner, Senior Airworthiness Assistant, and Deputy CAM when absent (As Required)

- Manage other CAM projects as needed (As Required)


Qualifications and Skills:

- Extensive experience in aviation and CAMO operations

- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and compliance requirements

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Flexibility to travel to various bases as required
