The Vacancy


As the SHEQ Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Uniserve's SHEQ systems and procedures are compliant, reviewed, and continuously improved. You will oversee all relevant SHEQ systems, provide training and support, and maintain a consultative relationship with sites to ensure ongoing compliance with agreed and legal standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • SHEQ Electronic Systems: Manage internal SHEQ Cloud-based systems, including Assure, monthly reports, supplier verification, contractor control, inductions, asset compliance, Learn module management, and SHEQ Portal actions.
  • SHEQ Administration: Assist with EL claims management, ensure compliance with internal SHEQ audit systems, assist with ESG data capture, support DPO and Customs Compliance Audits, liaise with certification bodies, and develop SHEQ Cloud-based systems.
  • SHEQ Compliance: Monitor maintenance and property compliance, audit sites for compliance, monitor CDM 2015 compliance, support major incident investigations, liaise with external bodies, monitor SHEQ Team compliance, and manage SHEQ system change requests.


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of SHEQ systems and procedures
  • Experience in implementing and delivering SHEQ projects
  • Proficiency in SHEQ Cloud-based systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
