Sommelier / Waiter

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at The Clove Club, led by Isaac McHale, chef/owner of the 2 Michelin-starred The Clove Club. Known for its focus on simplicity and exceptional ingredients sourced from some of the best producers in the country, this role offers the chance to work in an inspiring and dynamic environment.


About the Role:

As a Sommelier / Waiter, you will play an integral role in the front-of-house team, delivering outstanding service and curating memorable dining experiences for our guests. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with a strong interest in wine and hospitality to expand their knowledge and credentials in an intimate, dynamic environment.

You will be involved with a carefully curated wine list, focusing on a diverse range of classical and exciting European wines. Youll have the opportunity to be hands-on with wine service, develop your understanding of beverage pairings, and contribute to shaping our beverage offering.

  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • A strong interest in wine and beverages, with a desire to grow your knowledge and skills.
  • Prior experience in fine dining or similar high-quality environments is beneficial but not essential.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and an eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of the team.
