What will you be responsible for?


We’ve had great success in achieving our growth plans, both organically and through acquiring some amazing businesses who compliment what we do. We are therefore looking to invest in our People and Culture Team who are here to help our people build extraordinary careers and continue to achieve incredible business growth.

You’ll contribute to this by project managing our Reward and Benefits review. We’ve got foundations in place but this is an opportunity for someone to help us create sustainable structures that wants to elevate our current offering, from good to industry leading


Your headline responsibilities will be:

  • Project Manage the reward and benefits review
  • Build and maintain a network of professional relationships designed to tap into and develop the best policies and plans for the organisation.
  • Help to draft reward and benefit processes and communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate with other subject matter experts within HR and key stakeholders to secure approval of design changes.
  • Management and ownership of ad hoc projects to identify and develop solutions within reward and benefits.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for the HR team and their stakeholder to enable them to make decisions, interpret policies, and resolve complex issues.


What does that mean in practice?

Pay and reward is an essential part of the psychological contract between our people and the organisation. It is a big part of how people feel within the organisation, and therefore has a critical impact on morale. A fit for purpose pay and reward strategy and practices are vital as TIG continues to attract and retain the skills required for successful delivery of its strategic ambitions.

• Data analysis and presentation to gather data from multiple sources and present it in a succinct and compelling way, that paints a broad and accurate picture for HoC, to aid decision making.

• Working at pace – a completer with the ability to prioritise by understanding the bigger picture impact.

• Employee experience realisation – ability to walk through the employee experience ahead of time, to design the right solution that is inclusive and speaks to everyone.

• Direct accountability & ownership to deliver interventions and engagement pieces; and through influencing and holding stakeholders to account where applicable, at all levels.

• Solution-led - identify issues ahead and relish problem solving to create alternative solutions

• Excellent oral and written communication skills for content creation to deliver internal communications pieces with accuracy & flair.

• Strong innovation and creativity, capability to design, develop, implement and evaluate engagement solutions, working with forums and committees to champion.
