The Role:

For our UK subsidiary, we are seeking an organized, energetic, and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will share our values and be eager to carve out a stable and long-term career with a forward-thinking organization.

As a successful candidate, you have already worked as a sales executive and understand the different approaches required for independent stockists and national distribution. You will proactively identify opportunities for growth and development of new and existing accounts, develop strong trusting relationships with your customer base, and deliver results that support Wiha’s ambitions across various product and segment areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Regular travel throughout the region, including working away from home and overnight stays.
  • Demonstrating the product range, holding customer training days, and attending various exhibitions throughout the year.

To be considered for the role of Area Sales Manager, you should:

  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport, influence, and engage with people across both internal and external clients.
  • Be self-motivated, driven, and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for sales.
  • Have at least 3+ years of relevant sales experience, ideally within the hand tools/manufacturing industry but not essential.
  • Have demonstrable examples of previous success in sales and negotiation.
  • Be a goal-oriented and commercially astute individual with a strong technical aptitude.
  • Be highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload.
  • Be IT literate and a confident presenter.
