UK, UK, United Kingdom Centrick Full time

This is a 6 week contract to start on Immediately ENDO 22/07/2024

We are Centrick. Founded in 2005, we are a group of businesses dedicated to all things of residential property, with a national presence. We recognise that our people set us aside from our competition and in everything we do we set out to achieve our vision: to make customers’ lives better every day, the Centrick way.

So what do we do? Well, not only do we provide building & estate management services for developments of all sizes, we also have specialised teams in BTR & Asset Management as well as a residential sales team who service local and overseas clients investing in the UK property market. And what’s more, we even have a separate team focused exclusively on providing soft services such as cleaning, caretaking and maintenance.

This role is based in our HQ based in Birmingham city centre which houses many of our front-line teams as well as our group support functions including marketing, people and finance.

So, who are we looking for?

You’ll be a Senior HR Advisor with a passion for driving positive change and will be looking to work in a transformational People Team. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategies in a supportive and forward-thinking team inclusive of dedicated Generalist, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development professionals.

You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support to the organisation, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. The role involves advising and supporting managers and employees on HR-related issues, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws.

For success in this role, prior experience in a dynamic and fast paced organisation is essential. In addition, a background in service-orientated industries such as retail or hospitality, or experience in an operational service based or managerial role would be valuable.

You’ll also possess demonstrable experience of effectively managing employee relations cases across various levels of complexity.

And what will you be doing?

No two days are the same but the below gives you a flavour for some of the tasks you’d typically be involved with. Even if you can’t tick everything off from the list below but think you’ve got what it takes, we’d be keen for you to apply:

  • Responsible for all aspects of generalist HR
  • Provide advice and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relation issues, providing pragmatic guidance and support to managers and employees
  • Handle employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, mediation, ensuring fair and consistent treatment
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits
  • Support with system maintenance and payroll processing when needed

What’s in it for you?

We’ve fostered a values driven, inclusive environment for our people so that they enjoy coming to work every day.
