Role Overview:


A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring digital marketer who is eager to specialise in SEO. This in-house SEO Executive role involves working closely with the SEO Manager and the wider team to ensure the effective implementation of the organic search strategy. This position will see you fully supported and encouraged by a team of specialists within a dynamic, fast paced industry. You will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic willingness to learn on the job with an already established interest in SEO, either via studies or previous work-based experience.


Being data-driven is key. The ability to analyse data whilst demonstrating the creativity to write short copy is a rare blend of skills. SEO moves at a very fast pace so showing the aptitude for continuous learning is vital. If you have already started or completed a Google Digital Garage certificate (or other industry led SEO course) this would be a definite advantage.

Main Duties:

- Measure and report on the performance of natural search activities, assessing against specific goals (ROI and KPIs).

- Create effective reports to help senior members and teams understand the performance of natural search concerning the websites and related KPIs.

- Respond to ad-hoc requests for data and insights from various team members.

- Identify and execute opportunities to improve search rankings for key terms at all stages of the marketing funnel.

- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation.

- Work with content contributors to create high-quality content around important, relevant terms.

- Optimise copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.

- Stay updated on Google guideline changes to ensure all websites comply and avoid penalties.


Skills:

- An understanding or experience in running SEO campaigns and an understanding of natural search, including on-page optimization and technical SEO.

- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach.

- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

- High creativity with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns.

- Relevant marketing qualifications or proven experience.

- Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., GA4).

- Experience with modern SEO tools and reporting suites like SEMRush, Botify, would be beneficial.
