What are we looking for?

We’re excited to be hiring in our in-house film production team. We’re looking for a talented in-house Shooter/Editor to support our producers and directors on the various projects that we are simultaneously running. We are very keen to find someone for this role who is passionate, a fantastic multitasker, eager to learn new skills and that keeps on top of new trends in content creation.


Responsibilities:

  • To be the core in-house editor working on all Film team projects, both as leading editor and as supporting edit resource alongside freelancers
  • Professional ability to use Adobe creative suite, Premiere, and where necessary other video editing software, such as After Effects and MS Office suite
  • Be fully competent using different professional cameras
  • Provide operational and technical specialism to meet the visual and artistic requirements of the production team
  • Lead on small crew shoots as main filming resource
  • Have the ability to film different content types, genres and approaches, including promos, trailers, social content and long-form content
  • Produce cohesive shooting scripts for sign off
  • Lead the creative storytelling within an edit and turning them into films
  • Understand the creative aims and demands of projects, with an ability to visualise and help translate creative ideas into reality
  • Ensure appropriate production resources are obtained according to schedule and in line with regulations and budget
  • Work with the producer/director on set to ensure the smooth planning and running of the filming schedule
  • Work independently and create first edits without instruction from producer/director

The ideal candidate will already have some experience in the film, tv or advertising industry.
