Overview:


Enso Recruitment, on behalf of our esteemed client, is seeking a talented Infrastructure Specialist to join a dynamic IT services team. This full-time, permanent role is based in Belfast, offering a mix of on-site and hybrid working opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support to a wide client base.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents.
  • Contribute to new project deliveries and chargeable change work.
  • Mentor junior staff members.
  • Provide infrastructure support on customer sites as needed and serve as an IT point of contact.
  • Continuously enhance service offerings based on client feedback.


Essential Criteria:


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Server solutions and extensive experience with the Microsoft stack.
  • Strong skills in deploying and supporting M365 and Azure Active Directory Services.
  • Experience in virtualisation with VMware and Hyper-V on HPE and Dell hardware.
  • Knowledge in networking, including configuration of switches, firewalls, routers, storage, and Wi-Fi.
  • Capability to deploy and support clustered virtualisation solutions.
  • Expertise in managing Active Directory domains across multiple locations.
  • Proficient in M365 services, including email, security, MFA, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Ability to physically deploy vendor hardware in customer server cabinets.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in escalating issues when necessary.
  • Excellent self-management, time management, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric attitude.
  • Full UK driving license and personal transport.
  • High-quality design documentation and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
