OVERALL OBJECTIVES:


  • Be responsible for managing existing clients and new business prospecting
  • To lead on the development of sales around our marketing and advertising services
  • Develop successful customer relationships and build the involvement / influence of FinTech Intel and it’s events across the FinTech industry globally

KEY TASKS:

  1. To develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of FinTech Intel’s website & events, capabilities and other offerings from a sales and business development perspective.
  2. To develop an in-depth sector expertise, connections and affinity and to establish an understanding of the landscape; issues; initiatives; priorities within FinTech.
  3. To generate your own leads for new business through research and contact.
  4. To assist in the management of accounts, including preparation and presentation of proposals to senior directors and managers.
  5. To ensure that the relationship management activity for accounts is monitored and recorded. In particular, keeping the CRM database up-to-date with accurate and timely information, after each customer contact.
  6. To liaise with colleagues internally regarding client liaison and business development opportunities. Working closely with the FinTech Intel editor and events manager.
  7. To identify potential new business development opportunities and launches
  8. To ensure that all stakeholders are kept suitably appraised of relevant sales progress.
  9. To maintain accurate sales revenue and business pipeline records and to help formulate business plans as required.
  10. Establish productive relationships with key decision-makers
  11. Overseas travel to events such as Money2020 Amsterdam/ Vegas & Singapore FinTech Festival is required.
  12. Build out the sales and then build out /manage the team

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Someone who has significant and recent sales experience is a must. Preferably someone who has experience of selling digital media and event sponsorship though not essential. An interest / knowledge of the FinTech sector is a must. Experience with international sales would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will be someone who shows a professional approach to work demonstrating the highest integrity at all times. The candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and prioritise workflow by maintaining an accurate pipeline.
