What is an SDR?

A sales development representative is the tip of the spear for GTM teams. You will be responsible for reaching out to prospective clients who will benefit from the products/services on offer. You are at the very start of the sales cycle and are required to add to the top of the sales funnel. Your responsibility is to make contact with key decision-makers and sell the value of a further meeting with your business where you can then delve into how your product can add value to your client and solve their pain points


You will need to be able to think on your feet, handle objections, demonstrate resilience and be passionate about your product.

What You’ll Do:


  • Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs and present our solutions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching targets
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress in our CRM system
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your skills
  • Assist in the creation of sales materials and presentations
  • Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team to help refine messaging and campaigns
