About The Role
We have a brand new opportunity to join our Parts Supply Chain team as a Warehouse Planner on a full time permanent basis.
Reporting into Warehouse Planning, Efficiency & Operations Manager you will be responsible for optimising the warehouse operations to ensure efficient utilisation of space by working collaboratively with your external supplier counterparts. As a Warehouse Planner you will be developing and implementing strategies to maximise productivity, minimise costs and streamline processes within the warehouse facility.
Skills & experience you can bring to the role:
- Warehouse planning experience within a distribution or logistics environment and strong knowledge of warehouse configuration, processes and workflows.
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills with the ability to analyse data and identify trends to make data driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently but also confident collaborating effectively with and influencing cross functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS office and access database.
You’ll help make sure all our retailers have the parts they need, when they need them. We get the parts from suppliers in the UK and across the globe, and deliver them overnight to our UK dealerships. That means working closely with multiple teams so together we deliver excellent customer service.
Dordon
We operate a 64,000 sqft distribution centre in Dordon, which handles the distribution of all spare parts requirements for the UK market to over 800 sites including TPS (Trade Parts Specialists) and 90 sites across Republic of Ireland.
