**Role purpose**
- Driving the demand requirements into industrial and procurement, through rigorous processes, and ensuring the correct inventory profile for the respective business unit to guarantee a high service level for BMI customers.
- Continuously work to improve the reliability and stability of the supply plan, to achieve service level and inventory targets.

**Key responsibilities and outputs**
**Overall**:
- Engaging with the relevant cross-functional stakeholders.
- Maintaining critical parameters/master data for supply planning and inventory management.
- Measuring, controlling and reporting critical key performance indicators.
- Providing the plants with weekly/monthly plans in line with inventory and service level targets and capacity constraints.
- Ensuring the correct inventory levels at the depots by developing a distribution plan.
**Process**: support the Supply Review Meeting (SRM), and Pre-S&OP meeting, within the S&OP cycle, by**:
- Ensuring that the master data and planning parameters (target safety stock, service level, lead times, etc..) are updated and correct.
- Build a Master Supply plan in IBP, optimising inventory, maximising service levels and managing constraints.
- Run RCCP and build scenarios / come up with proposals for constraint resolution.
- Support Budget planning, building next year’s supply plan running scenario plans.
- Build Inventory distribution plan, optimising inventory through the network of WHs and Depots.
- Providing relevant inputs on different supply scenarios (capacity, risks, opportunities, planning parameters, inventory projections).
- Providing the relevant key performance indicators.
- Collecting/enforcing key cross-functional feedback/decisions on the scenario chosen.
**Process**: actively participate in the S&OE (Sales and Operations Execution) by**:
- Maintaining and sharing the relevant performance KPIs.
- Informing the S&OE team on potential stock outs and actions.
- Run ad-hoc analysis to manage supply shortages and/or demand unexpected fluctuations.
- Support production scheduler in building detailed production schedule based on IBP master plan.
- Resolving supply imbalances ( stockouts and overstocks), by adjusting production and/ or transport plans.
- Collaborating with the relevant functions to manage the emergency(ies) and develop action plans.
**MCR and Master Data responsibilities**: the Planner is responsible for**:
- Supply planning KPIs and reports related to his/her area of responsibility (Production Accuracy, Slow Moving and Obsolete Stock, Number of Stock Outs, Days of Cover, Capacity Utilization and OTIF).
- Root Cause analysis of gaps vs target on the KPIs and building of corrective actions plans.
- Maintaining correct and updated all the supply planning master data in both IBP and SAP S4 (MRP 1-2-3) or in the relevant ERP.
- Actively engage other function data owners to ensure that their master data is fit for supply planning.
**Knowledge & Skills required**
- BSc/BA in Engineering, Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related field
- APICS certification is a plus
- Senior profile with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a demand planning and/or supply chain management
- Advanced ability to work with excel or google sheets and database management for data analysis. Good skills with Powerpoint or Google Slides
- Good understanding of E2E supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, procurement, production planning,warehouse management)
