My Client: is a leading entertainment provider, operating a large-scale, diverse music venue that hosts a wide range of events from concerts and festivals to private functions and corporate take overs. The venue is renowned for its state-of-the-art facilities, exceptional service, and commitment to delivering memorable experiences to all attendees.


Position Overview: They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Operations Manager to oversee and enhance the operational efficiency of their music venue. This role focuses on strategic control, ensuring seamless operations, and fostering a culture of excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale entertainment venues, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to drive continuous improvement in all operational aspects.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee daily operations of the music venue, ensuring all events are executed smoothly and efficiently.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of operations staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with the venue’s goals.
  • Analyse operational performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality and service.

Event Management:

  • Coordinate with event planners, promoters, and vendors to ensure all logistical aspects of events are meticulously planned and executed.
  • Monitor event setups, transitions, and breakdowns to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues that arise during events promptly and effectively.

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure a superior guest experience by maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to continually assess and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage crowd control, security protocols, and emergency response procedures to ensure a safe environment for all attendees.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to venue operations, health, and safety.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and drills, addressing any areas of non-compliance or risk promptly.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, emergency services, and other external stakeholders as needed.
