Management Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Head of Finance in preparation of monthly accounts
  • Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Reconciliation of all bank accounts each month or more frequently as required by the business
  • Monthly reconciliation and posting of Company Credit card
  • Assist in preparation of statutory audit file
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly VAT and Fuel duty returns
  • Assist with Sales and Purchase Ledger entries as necessary
  • Assist with Payroll (80 staff) as necessary
  • Assist with the stocktakes for Parts, Vending and souvenirs stock
  • Point of contact to assist all departments with financial matters


Minimum qualification level required:

  • A recognised accounting qualification with at least 3 years post qualification experience in industry but could also be with practice experience


Experience and Skills:

  • Sage 200 experience is advantageous
  • Competent Excel user
  • Effective communicator both verbally and written
  • High level of accuracy
  • Good level of spoken and written English
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general public
