Position: Senior Medical Writer

Location: Oxford, UK | Hybrid

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum


We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Medical Writer to join a dynamic team within a medical communications agency based in Oxford. As a Senior Medical Writer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality medical content for a range of materials, including scientific publications, marketing materials, and educational resources.


Key responsibilities:

  • Write and edit medical and scientific content for a range of audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop and implement communication strategies
  • Ensure all content is accurate, compliant, and of a high scientific standard
  • Participate in client meetings and provide strategic input on medical communications projects
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior writers and team members


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of medical writing experience within a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical / medical company as a medical writer
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory guidelines
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
