Cardiac Care Nurse – Join Our Expanding Cardiac Diagnostics Team
Are you a compassionate and driven nurse with a passion for cardiac care? Do you have the skills and enthusiasm to excel in diagnostics and impact patients' lives? If so, we want to hear from you
As we expand our comprehensive cardiac care services, we seek a skilled nurse to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be crucial in setting up and managing ambulatory heart monitors, such as Holter and ABP monitors, and supporting home-based diagnostics for blood pressure monitoring. Your understanding of these diagnostics' clinical indications and needs will be invaluable.
In addition to diagnostics, you'll have the incredible opportunity to support our triage system, connecting with patients at the very start of their symptoms and guiding them throughout their journey to recovery. Imagine the impact you’ll make as the reassuring presence for patients from initial consultation to post-diagnosis support. This truly rewarding experience allows you to be part of each patient’s story of healing.
What we're looking for:
- Phlebotomy Expertise: Your up-to-date phlebotomy skills are essential, as attention to detail in labelling and documenting samples is critical to our work.
- Experience with Ambulatory Monitors: If you have hands-on experience setting up Holter and blood pressure monitors, this is your role You will bring these crucial diagnostic tools to life, ensuring accurate monitoring for our patients and empowering you to play a vital role in uncovering the information needed for effective care.
- 12-Lead ECG Knowledge: You will be comfortable with recognising and escalating abnormal ECG findings, supporting our team of HCAs in patient care.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate documentation, sample labelling, and compliance with our protocols is fundamental to success in this role.
We are looking for candidates available for sessions throughout the week between 09:00 and 19:00, with half-session flexibility. This is a fantastic opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate, offering a growing career path within our expanding services.
If you are ready to be part of a forward-thinking team, eager to make a difference in cardiac care, and excited to build lasting relationships with patients throughout their journey to wellness, apply now. Let us shape the future of cardiac care together
