Role & Responsibilities:


  • Client liaison and consulting on the strategic direction of accounts under your remit, gaining the respect and trust of the clients
  • Working closely with clients and healthcare professionals to understand their needs and translate these into opportunities for developing high-quality solutions
  • Developing an understanding of new therapy areas quickly and comprehensively, inspiring confidence in the client
  • Contributes and oversees the development, management and logistics and content of a range of healthcare advertising projects
  • Shows thoroughness in developing tactical plans, including budgets and timelines
  • Maintain a strategic overview of the account, proactively advise the client on new issues/external environment and contribute to strategic planning meetings with the client
  • Leading new business initiatives, including attendance and presentation at pitch meetings
  • Help drive new business development. Explore opportunities with former clients and contacts as much as possible.
  • Play an active role in new business pitches, leading on specific elements
  • Manage and take proactive steps to maximise client profitability through accurate budgeting and budget tracking
  • Lead and motivate the team to fulfil their potential and assume responsibility appropriate to their position
  • Training and developing a team and conducting performance reviews and appraisals


Requirements:

  • Degree (science, preferably life science)
  • High level of drive, motivation, and initiative
  • Ability to motivate, lead by example, train, mentor, develop and share best practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Expert presentation skills
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively and make decisions
  • Awareness of industry guidelines and best practice and their application
  • Significant experience working in a healthcare advertising agency
