We're looking for a Microsoft Licensing Specialist - Deputy Team Lead (Public Sector) to join one of the UK's most respected Public Sector Microsoft Partners – a Microsoft Fast Track Ready Partner, Azure Expert MSP, and multi-billion-pound turnover organisation

Your Role...

As the Deputy Team Leader, you’ll be right at the heart of the Public Sector Microsoft team.


You’ll oversee a group of SMC consultants (5 direct reports) and play a key role in their growth, development, and performance, while championing our Microsoft strategy.


Working closely with the wider Cloud Alliances Management Team, you'll be the go-to for guidance and support, helping us drive value for our public sector clients across the UK.


️ Key Responsibilities...

  • Operational: Set and track team goals, conduct monthly 1-2-1s and keep the team connected with regular meetings and updates.


  • Strategic: Assist in shaping our go-to-market approach, streamline processes, and align resources effectively to maximize team efficiency.


  • Development: Foster team growth, lead performance initiatives, and step in for leadership meetings when needed. You’ll also play a part in Microsoft partner reviews and audits.


What You'll Need:

  • Recent experience working in a Microsoft Partner is vital Working specifically to drive value in Public Sector would be a massive bonus


  • In depth knowledge, and previous experience working in Cloud Alliances and Microsoft Licensing


  • Proven team leadership experience


  • A deep understanding of Microsoft products and services, Microsoft Fundamental Certifications would be a great addition (MS/AZ/SC900)


  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills


  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving
