This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing, independent Event Specialist Health & Safety Consultant. You will be joining a brilliant Remote-First team, who are supporting a wide range of clients in the World of Sport, Music, Tech and Entertainment.


Location: London Area. Willing to travel within and around London fairly frequently.

Role: Permanent, full-time, remote working

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week with flexibility required to meet business needs.

Salary: 40k-45k (DOE)


The Role:

  • Advise clients on their legal duties and assist in implementing effective health and safety management processes and systems.
  • Conduct evaluations and audits of clients' health and safety management systems.
  • Demonstrate client software through remote screen-sharing or in-person sessions.
  • Develop and deliver training courses.
  • Write and audit event management plans, construction phase plans, RAMS, and other safety documentation.
  • Perform contractor competency checks.
  • Advise on fire safety and crowd management for events.
  • Support event projects as an on-site safety advisor.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the events or entertainment industries.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for a range of stakeholders.
  • Drive and enthusiasm with a willingness to learn, develop, and grow in the role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of event experience.
  • Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or NCRQ equivalent.
  • Technical member of IOSH or willingness to join IOSH.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to travel within the UK and internationally.
  • Strong IT skills and good knowledge of Google Workspace.

  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
  • Grad IOSH or working towards CMIOSH: Graduate Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Grad IOSH) or working towards Chartered Membership (CMIOSH) indicates a commitment to professional development and adherence to high standards in health and safety.
  • Other Health & Safety related qualifications: Additional qualifications in health and safety demonstrate a broad understanding and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
