Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our Global Travel Collection UK (GTC UK) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and expanding our network of Independent Travel Advisors and securing new corporate travel accounts for our Independent Travel Advisors. This role requires a strategic, pro-active thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales. The successful candidate will be highly motivated to achieve Global Travel Collection revenue targets and be proactive in their approach to revenue growth for the business.


Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential corporate clients and new independent travel advisors.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to understand client needs and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing independent travel advisors, providing them with tools and support they need to succeed at GTC UK and new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Create customized travel proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new business.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, networking functions to promote GTC UK
  • Leverage existing networks and create new connections to drive business growth.
  • Work closely with marketing team to develop new sales materials and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with all GTC support departments to ensure seamless onboarding of New Advisors and accounts.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with GTC US Sales and ASO teams on regular basis to support globalization of accounts and new business opportunities.
  • Explore and provide new international expansion opportunities for Global Travel Collection


Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven success and experience as a sales Manager
  • 3+ years in Corporate Travel experience and existing contact base
  • Hands-on experience in securing new business sales.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (Salesforce and Excel in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, where necessary.
  • Detail orientated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to work as part of a global team with a flexible schedule.
  • Present at GTC UK office minimum three times a week
  • Attending weekly sales meetings
