Join Team Amex and hep support the enterprise SEO team. Help us enable American Express to drive high impact SEO programs enterprise wide and globally. We are looking for dedicated SEO specialist that has previous hand's on knowledge with SEO and agency experience

How will you make an impact in this role?
Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.
  • Lead SEO Strategy for multiple markets and/or business units
  • Evangelize SEO within internal and external teams at Amex
  • Develop & implement a successful SEO Strategy in collaboration with other SEOs, business units, and external agencies
  • Provide recommendations and best practices for stakeholders
  • Become the central POC for key project to onboard partners with the best SEO practices
  • Partner with analytics to identify opportunities and track performance
  • Work with cross functional departments to develop and track all details of SEO initiatives
  • Assist in technical improvement of our platform that is developed in JavaScript (React)
  • Assist teams through migration, redesigns & new experiences
  • Manage vendor & agency relationship
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of SEO Experience
  • A proven track record in delivering exceptional SEO results
  • Knowledgeable of the latest SEO best practices
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of web architecture (HTML, JavaScript use within SEO)
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organizational, time management, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within a similar role in an in-house team is a plus
  • Previous web development experience is a plus but not required
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
